Conjunctions provide a link between similar words or groups of words, such as nouns, verbs, people, etc
Coordinating conjunctions join words and groups of words with an equal value.
Subordinating conjunctions join dependent clauses to main clauses
The conditionnel passé (past conditional) is used to express what would have taken place in the past had some other action, event, or situation occurred.

Subjunctive: express desires, doubts, the unknown, the abstract, and emotions
Indicative: express actions, events, and states that are believed to be true and concrete
Conditional: describe events that are not guaranteed to occur; often they are dependent on certain conditions
