First Friday Club of Chicago

While walking the Camino de Santiago I stumbled upon a retired German Priest (Father Martin) and spent several hours of conversation with him
One of my take-aways from my Pilgrimage is that I considered a conversion to Catholicism, as a more demanding religion
As part of my research and investigation I came upon the First Friday Club of monthly lectures which are a forum for men and women to make connections between work, faith, values and issues that affect their daily lives
And there is a rich variety of religious notaries and theologians among these podcasts
Among them:

Being a Practicing Catholic vs being a Registered Parishioner

Am I a registered parishioner? Am I a practicing Catholic?

1. Attendance at Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation. (We encourage submitting tithing envelopes each week, even when empty. If someone asks if you are a practicing Catholic, this helps us denote regular Mass attendance.)
2. Confession of serious sin at least once a year.
3. Reception of Holy Communion at least once a year during the Easter season.
4. Observance of the days of fast and abstinence.
5. Providing for the needs of the Church.

Italy (Civita di Bagnoregio)

Civita de Bagnoregio is an Italian hilltop village, which is often featured in Calendars and collections of beautiful geographic locations
Civita di Bagnoregio
The Map on it’s wikipedia site https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civita_di_Bagnoregio is a great reference for the towns along the Via Franchegena (it can be enlarged and reduced to reveal details of every town)
By the way, the “via” is over a 3 hour walk (15km) away from Bolsena
