French Terms with Opposite Meanings
(describing opposite features)

prefixes which create the opposistes of adjectives and nouns im-, im-, il-

au-dessus et au-dessous (above and below)

fenêtre ou en porte (windows and doors)

plus ou moins (more and less)

gauche et droite (left and right)

emprunter et preter (borrow and lend)

au-dessus et au-dessous (above and below)

ici and y (here and there) pronouns?
on y va, on y est, y

raison et tort (right and wrong) agreement or approval
avoir raison and avoir tort

vivant et mort (living and dead)

Either use a word with an opposite meaning
or use a Negative expression with ne . . . pas
